Oregon football unveils Week 1 uniform for Idaho game
Oregon football is back, everyone.
If you're anything like me, you're thrilled for the return of football and it feels like it's been years since we saw the Ducks take the field. That's just how anticipated the 2024 season is in Eugene.
Actually, this may be the most anticipated Oregon football season in decades.
And with game week finally here and just days standing between all of us and kickoff at Autzen Stadium against Idaho, it's time for a uniform reveal. Everyone is excited to see what the Ducks will run out onto the field wearing on Saturday night.
Luckily, Oregon came through with a revealed uniform combo for the season opener.
The Ducks will run out an all-green look with the classic "O" on the helmet with the yellow facemask. I like this classic look with the Duck logo on the sleeve and the yellow coloring for the letters and numbers is clean. It's not overly flashy, but it's kind of what I expected for the first game against the Vandals.
Oregon doesn't need to be overly flashy every single week, especially in games that probably won't be watched by the rest of the country because it comes against an FCS opponent.
The excitement is building and this uniform reveal just made the opener feel that much closer. We're just days away from the Ducks taking the field to begin their question for a national title. Dan Lanning has pieced together a title-caliber roster, led by Dillon Gabriel, and it would be shocking if the 2024 season doesn't end in a playoff berth.
