The 2024 season is right around the corner, but it's never too late for preseason hype. While Oregon football fans are happy with the No. 3 ranking the Ducks have gotten in both the AP and Coaches polls, they're also thrilled with the amount of talent being run out onto the field this year.

Along with some key returning stars, the Ducks are bringing in electric newcomers like Dillon Gabriel and Jabbar Muhammad.

But one newcomer is getting some serious NFL draft love. That newcomer is Evan Stewart.

As pointed out by 247Sports Jared Mack, The Athletic has Stewart listed among the top 50 prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft at No. 49.

This is high praise for a guy who flew under the radar at Texas A&M in 2023 despite being a former five-star recruit. He didn't quite have the sophomore season he was expecting with the Aggies last season and with Jimbo Fisher departing, he decided to hit the transfer portal. What better place to end up as a receiver than Oregon where the Ducks have one of the most electric offenses in the country?

Stewart made a smart decision as Troy Franklin has moved on after being the WR1 last year and he's replaced by Tez Johnson. Two quality wide receivers means that no team will be able to key in on one. This is the perfect offense for Stewart to excel in.

I've been high on Stewart ahead of the 2024 season, naming him to my list of breakout candidates on offense, but it looks like I'm not alone.

Keep an eye on Stewart as NFL teams are already taking note of his potential.
