Oregon NFL mock draft: Stock up after the Senior Bowl
By Sam Fariss
Rounds three-five:
Mase Funa is incredibly quick for his size. He was a part of the offensive line that was named as a finalist for the Joe Moore Award last season and Funa was a large part of why. At 269 pounds, the former Duck can knock down player after player while also catching anyone who may be pressuring his quarterback.
Brandon Dorlus was the best defensive end the Ducks had on the field last year. He is lightning quick and carries his weight well on the field. He is built for the attack and has 106 career tackles under his belt. He is also credited with 12 total sacks for 64 yards during his time at Oregon.
Khyree Jackson played extremely well throughout the Senior Bowl practices. However, there are a ton (and I mean a ton) of highly talented corners in the draft this year. With so much talent available, I think that Jackson will drop back a few rounds and go on day three of the NFL Draft.
While Bucky was incredible for the Ducks, he’s really small for the NFL. At just 5-foot-10 and under 200 pounds, Irving sits on the bottom of the totem pole in regards to RB sizes. His speed and ability to find gaps will lead to him still getting drafted but it won’t be until late in the fifth round.
