Oregon releases color schedule to get Duck fans excited for 2024 football season
By Sam Fariss
From the white-out games to the green and yellow stripes at Autzen Stadium, Oregon Duck fans show up to support their favorite team in rain or shine.
As the Ducks get ready to host the Big Ten, Oregon is relying heavily on its home crowd to continue its undying tradition of drowning out the visiting team.
Autzen Stadium has notoriously been a daunting facility for visiting teams to enter and the same will, hopefully, hold true as the Ducks enter their new conference.
Oregon football schedule 2024:
- vs. Idaho Vandals – August 31
- vs. Boise State – September 7
- at Oregon State – September 14
- at UCLA – September 28
- vs. Michigan State – October 4
- vs. Ohio State – October 12
- at Purdue – October 18
- vs. Illinois – October 26
- at Michigan – November 2
- vs. Maryland – November 9
- at Wisconsin – November 16
- vs. Washington – November 30
For Oregon’s seven home games this year, the Ducks will get to put on a show for the home opener against Idaho with the now-annual tradition of a stripe-out game.
Against Boise State and Ohio State, fans are expected to wear all black. When Michigan State and Illinois visit, fans can deck themselves out in yellow.
Duck fans not only should but need to flood the stadium in all-green from head to toe when Washington and Maryland come to town, especially when the Huskies visit.
Oregon fans also notoriously travel well and as the Ducks check a few new stadiums off their bucket list, fans have their assigned colors for away games as well.
When the Ducks visit UCLA, Purdue, Michigan, and Wisconsin, fans need to pull out all the stops for an impressive white-out on the road.
Oregon will also visit its little brother up the road, as per usual, and take on the Oregon State Beavers. When fans make their annual trek to Corvallis, they need to once again don their all-green gear.
