4. Oregon Ducks - 12-3

The Ducks are currently 4-0 in the Pac-12. They have taken down Washington, Washington State, UCLA, and USC in the past two weeks.

With these four wins, I would argue, the team should be pushed ahead of the Huskies in the conference power index rankings.

Oregon’s overall record is already tied for the best in the conference, not to mention that they have had the best opening to Pac-12 play this season. So it must be the team’s remaining strength of schedule holding them back, right?

Wrong.

Okay, I’ll admit it, the Ducks don’t have some insanely impossible schedule left this season compared to the rest of the conference.

They all play each other, that’s how conference play works. But, I think it should be noted that out of all 12 teams, Oregon has the 5th strongest remaining schedule.

The only teams in the conference that have more difficult schedules remaining are teams that are currently ranked below the Ducks in BPI.
