The Gophers are right below the middle of the pack in the Big Ten’s transfer portal rankings. While they are losing nine of their former players, the seven that head coach P.J. Fleck brought in soften the blow.

Cornerbacks Jai’Onte’ McMillan and Ethan Robinson will be invaluable assets to Minnesota’s secondary while running backs Marcus Major and Sieh Bangura help carry the load on offense.

Welcoming a fresh arm in Max Brosmer at quarterback will help to fill the depth chart for the Gophers. Meanwhile, wide receivers Jaylen Varner and Cristian Driver will make great targets for the quarterbacks.

Despite none of the Minnesota transfer grabs being highly-rated players, at most three stars, Fleck was able to fill the gaps left by the players who entered the portal from his team.
