Power Ranking Oregon and each Big Ten team’s performance in the transfer portal

Ryan Day has a lot of pressure on him to take his team back to the College Football Playoffs, especially now that there are 12 spots in the bracket.
Despite losing quarterback Kyle McCord and a few other key starters this offseason, Day and the Buckeyes did a fantastic job with the portal.
Almost immediately filling McCord’s shoes with Kansas State quarterback Will Howard and getting Howard some much-needed protection through former Alabama center Seth McLaughlin, the Buckeye offense is already looking intimidating.
Most likely backing Howard will be five-star transfer from Alabama, quarterback Julian Saying. Day also grabbed running back Quinshon Judkins from Ole Miss and tight end Will Kacmarek from Ohio.
Defensively, the team added Caleb Downs, a safety who was the SEC freshman of the year last season.
Ohio State’s transfer portal class is focused on quality, not quantity. And that fact alone won them the Big Ten throwdown in the transfer portal this offseason.
