The Scarlet Knights are finally seeing a boost to their offensive roster. Picking up Athan Kaliakmanis, former Minnesota quarterback, and Dymere Miller, former Monmouth wide receiver, will give Rutgers a long-awaited push on the attack.

However, beyond Miller and Kaliakmanis, head coach Greg Schiano dropped the ball in the transfer portal. With just two additional transfers in, defensive lineman Malcolm Ray from Florida State and long snapper Austin Riggs from BYU, Schiano left much to be desired.

On the other end of the stick, Rutgers is losing nine players to the portal, including backup quarterback Evan Simon and designated kick returner Rashad Rochelle.

Schiano is yet another Big Ten head coach who has watched as his roster has vacated the program. Hopefully, the few transfers who committed to Rutgers will be able to step up in a big way for the Scarlet Knights.
