Ranking each Oregon offensive coordinator over the last decade
By Sam Fariss
Arroyo was the Ducks’ co-offensive coordinator alongside Mario Cristobal from 2017-19. While Oregon had impressive seasons under Arroyo’s leadership, I would argue that Cristobal carried nearly all of the weight regarding the offensive coordinator role.
In Arroyo’s first season with the Ducks, Oregon finished at 7-6 and lost to Boise State in the Las Vegas Bowl.
The next year, Oregon knocked down the Michigan State Spartans in a shamefully low-scoring bowl game. The 7-6 performance against the Spartans in the Red Box Bowl is the sole reason Arroyo lands fifth on this list.
