Head coach Kevin Willard stole Ja'Kobi Gillespie out of the transfer portal after the young player had spent two seasons at Belmont.
Gillespie averaged an incredible 17.2 points, 4.2 assists, and 3.8 rebounds per game for the Bruins while shooting a jaw-dropping 56.1 percent from the field. While it will only be Gillespie's first season in a Power 6 conference, his stats speak for themselves.
