Redrafting the 2020 NFL Draft class: Justin Herbert to Giants, Jake Hanson undrafted
By Sam Fariss
Another Duck to go undrafted in the 2020 NFL Draft was offensive tackle Calvin Throckmorton. Once again, the New Orleans Saints came in to pick up the former Oregon player from free agency.
Again, the Pittsburgh Steelers could greatly improve their offensive gameplay with a talented lineman in front of their quarterback.
Adding Throckmorton to the Steeler’s O-Line instead of picking up defensive tackle Carlos Davis from Nebraska in the seventh round would be an incredible draft pick for Pittsburgh.
Oregon’s former center Jake Hanson was selected in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers. He has since played in just 18 games and has only started in five.
While Hanson has performed semi-well on the field during his NFL career, he has struggled with injuries and his longevity in the league doesn’t look good.
If the 2020 class were to be redrafted, Hanson most likely wouldn’t hear his name called.
