The 3 best quarterbacks the Oregon Ducks could face in 2024
By Sam Fariss
Yet another experienced transfer quarterback in the Big Ten, Will Howard is a lock for the starting job at Ohio State.
Last season, for the Kansas State Wildcats, Howard had 2,643 yards and 24 touchdowns through the air. A dual-threat quarterback, Howard also had 351 yards on the ground and an additional 9 rushing touchdowns.
One issue that repeatedly plagues Howard is his interceptions. Despite scoring a total of 33 touchdowns last year, he had 10 interceptions and has a total of 25 over the past five seasons.
If Howard can minimize his interception rate and emphasize his abilities as a dual-threat athlete, he will be a monster to have to deal with and not only for the Ducks.
