Meechie Johnson has excelled and grown more in this season than most other players across the nation. He leads the Gamecocks in points per game and has been an offensive powerhouse for the team.
Johnson combines with South Carolina’s forward B.J. Mack to control the court every time they play. Johnson contributes nearly three assists per game to elevate his teammates around him.
Since transferring to South Carolina from Ohio State, Johnson’s production levels have nearly tripled and we can expect that growth to continue during the NCAA Tournament.
