The former Indiana Hoosier lineman is joining Oregon’s offensive line when it truly needs some help. The losses of players Steven Jones and Jackson Powers-Johnson were massive blows to the Ducks' starting eleven, Bedford should help to soften the impact.

Most likely to replace Jones at right guard, Bedford will bring the experience that the Ducks will need to protect their quarterback and recreate a successful running game.

Bedford played four full seasons with the Hoosiers and became a starter for the team just part of the way through his freshman year. Appearing in 41 games, he is just who Will Stein needs to replace long-time starter Rogers.

While at Indiana, Bedford gained experience in four out of five offensive lineman positions – excluding center – and will become an integral part of the Oregon offense.
