Jahlil Florence was often overshadowed by players like Evan Williams and Khyree Jackson last season. Since he wasn’t DB1 or DB2 in 2023, Florence’s stats aren’t all-around astonishing on their own.

As Jabbar Muhammad joins the defensive backs at Oregon, Florence may once again get overlooked. However, if he can represent himself well over spring and summer practices, I think he stands a chance to become a shining star for the Ducks’ defense.

Florence had to sit out in key games for Oregon last season but if he can stay healthy, the Florence-Muhammad combination will be lethal on defense.
