The debate over who the all-time best Oregon wide receiver was a hot topic throughout the 2023 season. Troy Franklin set the single-season record for receiving yards last year with 1,383 yards.

However, does he stack up to be atop the list? Who are the top 10 Ducks in receiving yards throughout their career?

Here’s where Franklin and the nine other top receivers currently sit on Oregon’s all-time list:

Terry Obee. . Terry Obee. 1986-1989 – 2,233 yards. . Terry Obee. 10. player. 515.

Despite scoring just 16 touchdowns for the Ducks, Terry Obee sits at No. 10 in Oregon’s receiving record books.

In four years, Obee caught 119 receptions for 2,233 yards. His ability to gain yards after the catch brought his average up to 18.5 yards per reception.

The Ducks weren’t particularly good in the mid-1980s but once Bill Musgrave took over at quarterback, Obee’s stats soared. If you were to take away his freshman season, Obee would still be able to boast 109 career receptions for 1,977 yards – with an average of 18.1 yards per catch.

Obee also had 123 kick returns for 1,178 yards throughout his time in Eugene.
