Way-too-early ranking of Big Ten quarterbacks ahead of the 2024 season
By Sam Fariss
- Starting quarterback: Drew Allar
With the offensive squad Drew Allar has in front of him, he should be the top quarterback in the conference, especially as one of the only returning starters from the end of the 2023 season.
However, his failure to find consistent accuracy through the air bumps Allar down to No. 4 on this ranking.
In 2023, Allar completed 59.9 percent of his passes for just 2,631 yards. He scored an impressive 25 touchdowns throughout the season but also threw for 2 interceptions. On rush attempts, Allar averaged just 2.8 yards per carry and only scored 4 touchdowns on the ground.
