Oregon football history is being made by Dan Lanning and his Oregon Ducks as they get set for their inaugural appearance at the Big Ten Football Media Days in 2024. This is something of a landmark event and it signifies the start of a new era of Oregon football as they are welcomed even more into one of college football’s most storied (and most stable) conferences.

As the Big Ten has expanded to a gargantuan 18 teams, the Big Ten Football Media Days schedule has been set up to accommodate the impressive number of attendees who will be present. Thus, a three-day format for the festivities.

Oregon Ducks set for Big Ten Media Days 2024 debut

Out with the Pac-12, in with the Big Ten and its three days of media day fun. The Oregon football team will now share the stage with a variety of programs from across the country. From fellow former Pac-12 programs to iconic Midwest powerhouses all the way over to the east coast with Rutgers and Maryland.

College football is in a weird place right now with all of these teams in the same conference. But hey, there’s been plenty of seismic shifts in the college football landscape that has placed Oregon in Big Ten Media Days.

With the Big Ten ballooning up to 18 teams and all of these teams flocking to Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis (also home to the Big Ten football championship game), six teams will speak on each day of the 2024 Big Ten football media days.

But, well, Lanning and his Oregon Ducks won’t get the chance to chat with media members at the event until day three.

Here’s what the 2024 Big Ten football media days schedule looks like:

Day one - July 23:

  • Illinois Fighting Illini
  • Northwestern Wildcats
  • Ohio State Buckeyes
  • Purdue Boilermakers
  • Rutgers Scarlet Knights

The Ducks will share day three with the defending national champs (the Michigan Wolverines) and a familiar face in the Washington Huskies. Along with them will be the Indiana Hoosiers, Maryland Terrapins, and Minnesota Golden Gophers.
