The Oregon Ducks are facing the UCLA Bruins in the semifinals of the NCAA Women’s Golf Championships.

For one last time, the Pac-12 has stormed its way through the postseason and filled the final rounds of the championship.

Early Tuesday morning, freshman Kiara Romero putted (literally) the Ducks through to the semifinal round of the tournament.

While facing LSU in the quarterfinal round, seniors Minori Nagano and Ching-Tzu Chen kicked off the scoring for Oregon with two points.

The No. 7 seed Ducks downed the No. 6 seed Tigers to earn an appearance in the semifinals for just the second time in program history.

UCLA is the other No. 6 seed on the Ducks’ side of the bracket and teed off later on Tuesday afternoon.

On the other side of the bracket, the Stanford Cardinal and USC Trojans are facing each other for a spot in the final round.

The Cardinal is the No. 1 seed on the opposite side of the bracket and the highest-ranked team remaining.

The Trojans earned a No. 4 seed at the start of the tournament and are heavy underdogs to Stanford, a continuously dominant force on the collegiate women’s golf scene.

Romero, Nagano, and Chen are fighting for Oregon’s first-ever national title in women’s golf.

In 2022, the Ducks made an appearance in the championship round but were bested by Stanford Cardinal, in yet another all-Pac-12 matchup.

While the Conference of Champions won’t be around much longer, it is most certainly going out with a bang as the 12 teams dominate the national scene.
