Host of "The Unafraid Show" and a frequent guest on "Talkin' Ducks," former Oregon and NFL tight end is one of the freshest and most original voices on the college football commentary scene.

He places Dante Moore at the No. 10 spot nationally. "This dude has been left off of ALL the top ten quarterback lists."

"We've gotta be real-- he is the next big thing in Eugene. Former five-star quarterback. Cannon arm. Ultra confident and sat behind Dillon Gabriel last year. And now he's is one of the most quarterback-friendly offenses in the country. A Heisman sleeper. Believe it."

"Some will say, 'On, he wasn't that great at UCLA.' There were mitigating circumstances . After a year of development and sitting, it's going to be good."

The rest of Wrighster's list:

9. DJ Lagway Florida "He flashed some of the best potential."

8. Carson Beck Miami "Can he be better than Cam Ward in the Miami offense?"

7. LaNorris Sellers South Carolina "In one word, he's electric."

6. Drew Allar Penn State "He looks good getting off the bus, but I need him to step up and be a little more special if he wants to be any higher on this list."

5. Arch Manning Texas "He's stepping out of the shadow and into the spotlight."

4. Garrett Nussmeier LSU "He threw for over 4,000 yards last year, 4,052 yards and 29 touchdowns. His deep ball is pure art. Quick release. NFL vision."

3. Sam Leavitt Arizona State "One of the most balanced quarterbacks in the country. His head coach Kenny Dillingham has him in the perfect offense."

2. John Mateer Oklahoma "May have been one of the most dynamic quarterback in the country that nobody really watched. 3100 yards passing, 800 yards rushing, 44 total touchdowns. Are you kidding me? Kid is a DAWG."

"Mateer is an absolute highlight factory and now he's in the SEC. He's going to get all the name-brand attention he could want."

1. Cade Klubnik Clemson "My number one should be everybody's number one. He's now battle tested. He's a leader, a real Heisman contender."

Wrighster's No. 1 and No. 4, Klubnik and Nussmeier, square off in 70 days when LSU travels to Clemson for a 4:30 p.m. PT game on ABC, the featured matchup of Week 1.

Mateer and Oklahoma host LSU in Norman on November 29. Big Ten fans get their premier quarterback duel September 27 when Oregon travels to Beaver Stadium to take on Allar and the Nittany Lions, picked by many as the favorites to win the conference and return to the playoffs.

Wrighster has thoughts too about the College Football playoff expansion and schedule issues.

Follow that with one portal window that opens in January, and the game has a workable, sensible calendar that should maximize fan interest while providing some stability.
