SEC teams are working overtime to poach Oregon recruits

Last week LSU hosted 5-star offensive tackle Immanuel Iheanacho while Tennessee entertained 2027 wide receiver Kesean Bowman. Bowman decommitted from the Ducks on Wednesday,

Saturday in Austin four-star Panther Creek, Texas wide receiver Jalen Lott is taking a visit to Texas for their game against Sam Houston.

Lott committed to the Ducks on July 8. He's the No. 44 prospect and No. 4 wide receiver in the 247 Sports Composite, 6-0, 176.

It's just the reality of NIL, revenue sharing and the pressure to win. The competition for top players is more intense than ever, and it barely pauses with signing day about ten weeks away.

Under Dan Lanning Oregon's last three recruiting classes have ranked ninth, fifth and third, and the current class is currently No. 7 in the country. He's pulled off major flips on NSD each season.
