Kwame Evans announced via Instagram Monday morning that he's returning to the Oregon Ducks basketball program for his junior year.

The 6-9 forward from Baltimore could have entered the portal, but he's joined guard Jackson Shelstad in returning to the Ducks for 2025. As a freshman last season he played in all 36 games and made 29 starts.

After the Ducks 87-83 loss to Arizona in the Round of 32 at the NCAA Tournament, Evans told 247Sports:

"I want to be back in this same position next year, hopefully be back here and win the game. That's what we are going to try to do: get back to this point and overcome this hurdle. Just be there, be in the moment. The program is going to be really good. Whoever comes in is going to work. Coach Altman really brings the guys together and we get better throughout the year."

Now Dana Altman and the team are awaiting a decision from center Nate Bittle, who's declared for the NBA draft with the option to return.
