Will Stein has his 2026 quarterback. Vista Murrieta four-star quarterback Bryson Beaver committed to the Ducks Wednesday over Ole Miss, Alabama and Auburn, Oregon's 10th commitment in the 2026 class.
The 6-3, 195 QB from Murrieta, California skyrocketed up the quarterback rankings after a star turn at the Elite 11 Competition, finishing third overall among 20 of the nation's top passing prospects.
He's rated a three-star on Rivals, four at 247 Sports. Last season he led Vista to a 8-4 record, All-Inland and All-District after passing for 3,314 yards and 33 TDs. He's accurate, a 66.4 percent passer in 2024.
Beaver has to fill out a lanky frame and gain maturity, but like the rest of the group in the Oregon quarterback room he carries a 3.8 GPA.
The last few weeks have been a blessing—I’ve had some great conversations with amazing coaches from top programs, and I’m super thankful for the interest I’ve received. With that said, I’m excited to announce that I’m committing to play football at @oregonfootball ! Huge thank… pic.twitter.com/CYUAaEzzVg

He told Steve Wiltfong of On3 Sports, “Coach Lanning and Coach Stein and all the other coaches they have in there, they’re people players want to play for and they’re a big team builder guys and I feel the chemistry there with all the players and coaches.”
