The Oregon Ducks were devastated in their first game of the College Football Playoffs when the Ohio State Buckeyes stormed to victory in the Rose Bowl Game. After the matchup, star wide receiver Tez Johnson held his head high and was a perfect example of good sportsmanship.

After the loss, as Oregon players consoled each other and Ohio State players celebrated the win, Johnson stood to the side as Buckeye quarterback Will Howard was completing his interview with ESPN. Once the interview was wrapped up, Johnson walked up to Howard and congratulated him on his incredible, game-winning performance.

Despite Oregon's incredible season and Johnson's collegiate career coming to an end with the bowl game loss, the Duck made sure to give everyone the recognition that they deserved. During the game, Johnson earned 32 yards on 5 receptions for the Oregon offense.

Howard, who played the entire game despite Ohio State's resounding lead, completed 17 pass attempts for an astonishing 319 yards and 3 touchdowns through the air.

After congratulating Howard, Johnson walked off the field one last time as an Oregon Duck. Before he made his way to the tunnel, the beloved wideout made sure to thank the fans as well – yet another example of exactly who everyone hopes athletes to be.

Earlier this season, Johnson was the offensive MVP for the Ducks' win over Penn State in the Big Ten Championship game and he accepted his invitation to the Reese's Senior Bowl – where he will don an Oregon helmet once again.

Throughout his two seasons for the Ducks, fans fell in love with Johnson. His personality, his drive, and his ability to find the end zone made him the perfect Oregon Duck. Johnson amassed 169 receptions for 2,080 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns over those two years.
