New York Giants
Losing Jaxson Dart in Week 2 is a massive blow for the Giants, especially as Jameis Winston's arm hasn't been as strong. The Giants have a talented roster, and at 2-1 with a weak stretch of games coming up, they could be buying big at the deadline for a quarterback. The biggest hurdle would be if the team believes in Jaxson Dart, as they'd have to move off either Herbert or Dart next year.
New York Jets
The New York Jets have 3 1st round picks in this upcoming class, and if they don't love any quarterback at the top of the class, they have all the ammo to make a trade. Breece Hall, Kenyon Sadiq, Garrett Wilson, and Adonai Mitchell is a great young core, and the offensive line is great with all the investments into the unit. Justin Herbert would finally give the team a quarterback they can build around, and the Jets would have the ammo to make a trade.
Arizona Cardinals
The Cardinals' decision to cut Kyler Murray put them in a weird place with looking for their franchise QB, and they may not be bad enough to pick high enough to land an elite QB prospect. Trey McBride, Michael Wilson, and Jeremiyah Love are great weapons, and if the Cardinals could unlock Marvin Harrison Jr., the unit could be elite. Dropping Justin Herbert into this offense would give the Cardinals everything they need to start winning games.
Atlanta Falcons
When Michael Penix Jr. plays, the Falcons look solid, but he hasn't been nearly healthy enough for the team to rely on him. Kevin Stefanski saw what quarterback musical chairs could do to a coach during his time in Cleveland, and if he can get a franchise QB the team would pull the trigger. The Falcons have solid weapons in Kyle Pitts, Bijan Robinson, and Drake London, and Herbert would make this the best team in the NFC South.
