Three wins in a row to improve your conference record to 6-3 and your overall record to 15-5 is nothing short of phenomenal and the Oregon women's basketball team has done just that. With a seven-point win over the Indiana Hoosiers, the Ducks are officially on fire with their three consecutive wins.
After a close loss to the then-No. 9 Ohio State Buckeyes, the Ducks entered a dominant stretch at home with wins over Purdue, Iowa, and Indiana.
In the 54-47 win over the Hoosiers, the incredible Oregon defense stepped up big as guard Peyton Scott led the Ducks in scoring during the Big Ten matchup.

With the win, the Ducks improved to 13-1 at Matthew Knight Arena, Oregon's home court. The roster combined for a resounding 28 defensive rebounds, 11 steals, and 2 blocks. Head coach Kelly Graves has repeatedly stressed the importance of defensive dominance and his coaching is clearly paying off.
While the win over the Purdue Boilermakers was an astonishing 16-point victory, the more recent wins have come down the wire for Oregon. The Ducks' win over the Iowa Hawkeyes came down to the last few seconds as Oregon's defense held Iowa to just 49 points while the offense only produced 50 points of its own.
Against Indiana, the Ducks held the Hoosiers to just over 22 percent from beyond the arc and an abysmal 37.5 percent from the field as Indiana struggled to find its shot from anywhere on the court. Former Oregon Duck player Sydney Parrish produced 10 points for the Hoosiers while senior forward Karoline Striplin led the team with 14 points.
Ehise Etute came off the bench for Graves and the Ducks, contributing 9 points to Oregon's total score as well as 8 rebounds to lead the team off the glass.
The Ducks will take a roadtrip to Michigan as they take on the No. 21 Michigan State Spartans and then the No. 24 Michigan Wolverines for their next two Big Ten matchups.
