Oregon had a record draft and a record number of players signed as free agents or invited to NFL camps. In all, 21 Ducks have a shot at a pro career, although in a typical season about 30% of drafted players make a roster.

In three seasons Dan Lanning has had 24 players drafted, most on the West Coast by a significant margin. Early mock drafts have the Ducks sending as many as four players into the first round next season:

Isaiah World

Pick 13 — San Francisco 49ers

Matayo Uiagalelei

Pick 15 — Seattle Seahawks

Evan Stewart

Pick 16 — Arizona Cardinals

Dillon Thieneman

Pick 27 — Buffalo Bills

After the Oregon Spring Game Dan Lanning said about the team's draft success,

"Proof is in the pudding, right? I mean, you just look at it and you’re setting the program record for guys being drafted in the NFL this year. Every year, our draft picks have gone up since we’ve been here."

"And that’s really a credit to those players who have worked extremely hard [and are now] getting an opportunity to live out their dream. Really excited for them and really grateful for everything they did for Oregon."

A track record of draft success and NFL careers is massive for recruiting. That's how credibility is built.

A record ten Ducks were drafted. Each represents the fulfullment of a dream and years of hard work and devotion to football:
