The last time we saw the Oregon Ducks, Dan Lanning's team showed what they were made of by winning a highly emotional game over the USC Trojans. After a massive test against USC, Oregon faces another California team as the 21st ranked UCLA Bruins come to town. Dante Moore's injury leaves the Oregon Ducks shorthanded in a pivotal game, but Dan Lanning and his staff have had two weeks to prepare for a game with massive College Football Playoff implications.

UCLA Vs Oregon odds

Coming into the week, Oregon opened as 12.5 point favorites over the Bruins. As of Saturday Morning, the Ducks are 10.5 point favorites over the Bruins (-108), according to FanDuel Sportsbook. Oregon is currently -410 favorites to win the game, while UCLA is a +315 underdog. The total is set at 57.5 points (Over -115, Under -105). The dip in the line could be explained by Dante Moore being officially ruled out or by the Bruins earning more favor from the public.

Eugene, Oregon weather forecast for Saturday

After a warm night in Southern California, it should be a beautiful fall afternoon in Eugene for this weekend's game. During the game, the temperature is expected to be in the low to mid 50's with a high of 58 degrees during the day. There is only a 15% chance of precipitation on Saturday Afternoon, but everyone knows it never rains in Autzen Stadium.

Injury Updates

Coming into the weekend, Oregon will be without Dante Moore as he recovers from the concussion he suffered in the USC game. The other notable injury the Ducks are dealing with coming into this matchup is the loss of starting safety Aaron Flowers, who left the USC game with an upper body injury. On the UCLA side, the Bruins will be getting starting safety Tao Johnson back after he missed the last 3 games. Oregon depth cornerback Aaron Scott Jr. is listed as questionable for this game.

Final predictions for UCLA vs. Oregon

Given that Dante Moore is out for Oregon, it's hard to fully predict what we may see in this game, given that the Ducks will gameplan around Dylan Raiola's strengths and UCLA will gameplan to slow him. The USC game was a unique situation given that the Trojans likely weren't prepared for Raiola, but the Bruins have spent the past two weeks studying Raiola.

The way the Ducks are going to win this game is by getting the best performances of the season out of the defense. UCLA leans on its elite rushing attack, but the Ducks have the talent on the defensive front to slow this unit down, especially with the talent at defensive tackle. The Bruins haven't faced a defense as talented as Oregon's, and with the offense dealing with the loss of Moore, the defense is going to deliver its best performance of the year.
