0-3 Oregon State at No. 6, 3-0 Oregon, Autzen Stadium, 12 noon PT, TV on the Big Ten Network.

Current line has the Ducks favored by 33.5, down a point from the open. Oregon is dealing with a significant list of injuries with Evan Stewart and Trey McNutt out, Noah Whittington listed as questionable and the status of sensational freshman wide receiver Dakorien Moore a closely-guarded secret.

Moore has been reported out for the Civil War by both Scoop Duck and Andrew Nemec of the Sporting News, and his status for the Penn State game is uncertain.

One concerning injury note for the Beavers is that long snapper Dylan Black has an injured hand. Regular center Van Wells will step in, but he hasn't snapped for punts since high school. Oregon's Jeremiah McClellan has already blocked two kicks this year, both coming against Montana State.

Elsewhere in Big Ten football Friday night, Iowa rallied for 17 points in the fourth quarter to overcome Rutgers in New Jersey, 38-28. The Hawkeyes' Kaden Wetjen opened the game with a 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown, and nearly scored on a punt return at the end of the first half.

New Iowa quarterback Mark Gronowski scored three times on keepers, including two in the fourth quarter, 12-18 passing for 186 yards, 13 carries for 55 yards and the three touchdowns.

The Ducks travel to Rutgers on Saturday October 18. Their quarterback Athan Kaliakmanis completed 24-40 passes for 330 yards in last night's loss.

At his midweek press conference Dan Lanning said, "I think all of college football feels different the last few years, but this game still means a lot to us, for sure. You know, state (bragging) rights, it's the opportunity to play a team in-state, and it's just down the road."

"A lot of fans grew up either Ducks or Beavs, even in our community in this state. So this game means a lot to a lot of people; certainly means a lot to the team."

The Ducks are wearing special black uniforms in a tribute to Phil Knight and Bill Bowerman, the founders of Nike and pivotal figures in Oregon sports.
