One of the most coveted recruits in the country, Jared Curtis is a 5-star quarterback from Nashville Christian High School in Nashville, Tennessee. What does he bring to his new school?

Prototypical size

At 6-4, 225 Curtis stands tall in the pocket and runs effectively when he escapes it.

Strong Arm

The Tennessee State Gatorade Player off the Year last year threw for 2,830 yards last year with 40 touchdowns and two interceptions. He's improved his accuracy every year, completing 70.2 percent last season.

Nashville Christian coach Jeff Brothers told the Athens Banner-Herald,

“What stands out about Jared is just his natural ability to throw a football,” Brothers said. “His size, his strength, his combination of ability to run, to see the field, to be patient in the pocket. He throws every ball, at every level is a catchable ball. "

"The deep ball over the top is catchable. The short underneath checkdown route is catchable. The intermediate ball that’s got to be thrown into a keyhole is catchable. So a tremendous talent, but a tremendous ability to throw a catchable football.”

Mobility

In 2024 Curtis ran for 637 yards and 18 touchdowns

Intelligence and leadership

Curtis has a high football IQ and is a great leader. Brothers praised his ability to stay even-keel through the high profile recruiting chase. “Throughout this process, he’s unchanged from a personality standpoint,” Brothers said.
