The Norfolk State Spartans had three players with more than twenty points and more importantly held Missouri’s Kim English to only two points on the day. The three players that scored more than Norfolk State were Kyle O’Quinn, Chris McEachin, and Pendarvis Williams. On top of it, Norfolk State out rebounded Missouri with thirty-four rebounds and O’Quinn had fourteen of them. The one thing that made this game exciting was the end where Kyle O’Quinn missed two free throws with three seconds left, but Phil Pressey missed a last second three and Norfolk State upset Missouri by a score of 86-84.
