Before we start the 2013 edition of the PAC-12 Know the Opponent series for football, we’re going to approach it a little differently. Starting off we’ll take a look at the Football Championship Series (FCS) schools on the schedule. Since there are nine we’ll look at half in this edition and the other in the next.

There are nine FCS schools on the schedule instead of splitting them alphabetically I’ll split them up by records. Here is part one with Nicholls State Colonels (1-10/0-7 Southland), Idaho State Bengals (1-10/0-8 Big Sky), Weber State Wildcats (2-9, 2-6 Big Sky), Portland State Vikings (3-8/2-6 Big Sky) and Southern Utah Thunderbirds (5-6/4-4 Big Sky).
