Malone is also on the watch list for the Nagurski Trophy for the 2014 season.

The six foot two Senior finished the 2013 season leading the Oregon Ducks in tackles with one-hundred and five, forty five were solo tackles. Malone is among several Oregon Ducks football players to be named to Preseason Watch Lists including Cornerback Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, Quarterback Marcus Mariota,  and Center Hroniss Grasu. Malone and the rest of the Oregon Ducks start Fall Camp in preparation for the upcoming season on August 4th.
