Two Oregon Ducks, Marshall and Tyner, Make Doak Walker Award Watch List
Watch list week continues with more Oregon Ducks being named as contenders for end of season awards. On Thursday the Doak Walker Award Watch List was released, honoring the top running back in the nation. The Pac-12 Conference is well represented on the list and several teams have more than one player on the list including Oregon.

Oregon Ducks Sophomore Thomas Tyner and Junior Byron Marshall are among several players from the Pac-12 on the list for the Best Running Back of 2014 including Arizona State Running Back D.J. Foster, USC Junior ‘Buck’ Allen, and Colorado Junior Christian Powell. One team that also has a nominee on the list is Michigan State, who will travel to Autzen Stadium to take on the Oregon Ducks on September 6th. Spartans Senior Jeremy Langford is among those in the Big Ten Conference competing for the honor.
There are a total of fifty three nominees for the Doak Walker Award for Best Running Back in the Country for 2014.
The Oregon Ducks kick off the regular season on Saturday, August 30th at 7:30pm PT hosting South Dakota on Pac-12 Networks.
