The Oregon Ducks Softball team is halfway to the Championship Series, beating LSU and Baylor on Saturday.

The road ahead for Oregon includes needing to win two games again Oklahoma on Sunday to remain alive in the Women’s College World Series. A big key on Saturday was Jenna Lilley, who found a rough slump through the regular season. She had big hits in key moments in both games to help Oregon get runs on the board.

Catcher Gwen Svekis started the nightcap against LSU with a two run homerun and the Ducks never looked back in a 4-1 win led in the circle by Megan Kleist who pitched the game of her life striking out nine along with several with Bears on base. Kleist had the momentum for the entire game showing why all season she has been one of the best pitchers in the country.

Oregon and Oklahoma have some recent history. The Ducks took care of the Sooner back in 2014 and look to take some momentum into the potential two-game series Sunday.
