Former Oregon Running Back Kenjon Barner is the latest athlete to be put through the physical tests of ESPN Sports Science. I really like they way these folks break down the work that they do. It makes sense. The videos are short and to the point  and always include a nugget or two that you didn’t know about the player.

Earlier in the month they put another former Duck, and likely Top 10 NFL Draft pick Dion Jordan to the test.

Barner ranked higher is certain aspects of the Sports Science test then others that tested this year and one key stat jumps out at me is how strong Barner is in his legs. He barreled through 1500 pounds of pressure bearing down on him in just two seconds.

I’m not sure of NFL GM’s and head coaches will get to see this video, but it shows a different perspective of what an athlete can do on the field and in my opinion is better than watching someone run the 40 yard dash.
