Oregon Ducks vs Wyoming, Cowboys Coach Brings Championship Experience

Following his performance against Michigan State, the now number two team in the county and the leading Heisman Candidate Quarterback Marcus Mariota welcome in to Autzen Stadium on Saturday morning. Wyoming comes with a first year head coach that has some championship experience. Craig Bohl comes off several successful seasons coaching North Dakota State and taking them to the FBS Championship game.

Bohl and the Cowboys are 2-0 on the season beating Montana and Air Force. Starting Quarterback Colby Kirkegaard is thirty six for fifty eight and has thrown two touchdowns on the year, including a dramatic game winning score in the final seconds last weekend against Air Force. The Oregon Ducks offense will likely not be much of a match with Oregon favored by forty five points on Saturday.

As far as penalties, Wyoming enters the game as the least penalized team in the nation. Just three penalties for total of nineteen yards. The Cowboys enter the game ranked twentieth in points against with 12.5, Oregon, with tougher competition last week ranks fifty first, giving up an average of 20.5 points per game.  Wyoming will be better competition for the Oregon Ducks than South Dakota. There is two player to watch for Wyoming.

Senior Wide Receiver Dominic Rufran is averaging 1/4 yards per carry this season through two games and has caught ten passes for one hundred forty four yards. He had one hundred nineteen yards against Air Force. Junior Running Back Shaun Wick has a 1500 yard rushing career with Wyoming and on the season has one hundred seventy one yards on thirty six attempts with a touchdown.

Oregon and Wyoming take to the field on Saturday morning at 11am Pacific Time on Pac-12 Networks.
