Oregon Finishes Second in Pac-12 Conference, Earn 1st Round Bye In Conference Tournament

To begin the season the Pac-12 Media picked the Oregon Ducks to finish eighth in the Conference. Fast forward to Saturday and an upset of Utah and Dana Altman finds his team finishing second in the Pac-12 Conference behind Arizona, who beat Oregon in both matchups this season. The Ducks finish the regular season at 23-8 and 13-5 in the Pac-12. In the final standings the Ducks are slotted third according to ESPN, but in beating Utah Oregon finishes in second place.

The Pac-12 Tournament seeds are now set and the Ducks, in finishing second, will have a first round bye in the Tournmant that begins next Thursday from Las Vegas. The second round draw for the Ducks will be either Colorado or Oregon State, who play on Thursday at 6pm Pacific Time. Many Oregon fans were hoping for a third seed finish for Oregon as the Friday game would be on ESPN. In finishing second the Friday game will be in Pac-12 Networks, however Oregon fans will be happy and able to see their Ducks.

The Pac-12 Network will allow one-day free access during the Pac-12 tournament Quarterfinal games, so fans will be able to watch games online and also have access to pre and post game content via Pac-12.com

Oregon’s Quarterfinal game will be on Friday at 6pm Pacific Time on Pac-12 Networks. The Championship Game will be broadcast on ESPN, along with one semi-final game.
