Adams Or Lockie?

Last weekend Vernon Adams started the game with his broken index finger and was ineffective from the start. He was pulled in the second quarter for Jeff Lockie who appeared to give the Oregon Ducks Offense a spark, but it was short lived to a two interception performance in a blowout loss to Utah. The Starter this week will likely not be announced until the start of the game on Saturday night. Regardless of who is starter, it will be important to get some sort of rhythm established early.

One area that Oregon could do this is the Run game with Royce Freeman and a bevy of backs that took Eastern Washington to the woodshed early as Freeman, Tony Brooks-James and Kani Benoit all scored at least one touchdown in the first week of the season. Now, at 2-2 and the reality of a National Championship gone, Oregon still has a Pac-12 title to play for in 2015. The run game will be a key on Saturday night if Oregon is to have success.
