One man can make a big problem for Oregon on Saturday.
Defensive End Jared Bell is in his sixth season with Colorado – yes you read that right – he missed two seasons due to injury and brings plenty of experience to the front of the Buffs Defensive Line, which may be a key as to why the team is on a three game winning streak after losing the season opener at Hawaii.
Bell has four tackles on the year, but picked off two passes against Nicholls State last weekend good enough for two interceptions. The Senior has had more than his share of physical growing pains, but mental ones a well with numerous coaching changes in Colorado, but he told ESPN it has made him a better player, “Three different coordinators, four head coaches, I got to learn a lot more than most people have going from different schemes and coaching styles. I guess that’s a good and a bad thing. Some days I was beating my head against the wall. A new set of philosophies and slogans and quotes you have to buy into every year. It’s not easy to do.”
Bell will be looking out for Royce Freeman and likely the Oregon Starting QB on Saturday.
