Now that Oregon Football has officially parted ways with Head Coach Mark Helfrich the rumor mill is running at full steam.
Names of potential replacements are flying left and right, up and down, forwards and backwards. Seemingly every name, whether logical or not, has been thrown out there as a potential candidate.
One of the more illogical names to be tossed around is that of Notre Dame Head Coach Brian Kelly. While a certain subset of Oregon fans are clamoring for the return of a certain Coach Kelly, it ain’t the one named Brain.

Kelly is an Offensive Minded Coach which means if he lands at Oregon, the philosophy will have to be ‘tweaked’ rather than completely overhauled. If it’s true, it makes sense.
