Southern Utah

Southern Utah is out of the Big Sky Conference and finished at 6-5 behind Eastern Washington. The team was 5-3 in Conference and had over 4200 yards passing for the season. Leading Rusher Senior Malik Brown ran for over 1000 yards His production will be replaced. The Passing game saw several players in the mix.

Tyler Patrick led the way with 23 touchdowns and 6 interceptions averaging over 220 yards per game for the Thunderbirds. Mike Sharp caught for over 800 yards and had an eye-popping 12 yards per catch average during the 2016 season.

The biggest game on the schedule for Southern Utah is the game with Oregon, followed by Stephen F. Austin and a midseason clash with Eastern Washington.
