Former Oregon Ducks Head Coach Chip Kelly Helping Coach Up Navy?
Chip Kelly has resurfaced recently and while he is looking to keep his feet in the National Football League, he is spending time in College Football this week.
The former Oregon and NFL Head Coach is still considered an Offensive Genius by many. You don’t have to go too far to see why. Chip Kelly seems adamant that he will not return to the College game, he wants to remain at the Professional Level, but this week he is at Navy sharing ideas of what brought him success while he was with the Oregon Ducks.
Right now, what Chip Kelly has is time. After being fired from San Francisco at the end of last season, he has tried to find solid ground in the National Football League to land on, but came up short. He went to the folks at FOX for a possible television analyst job, but it appears that won’t be panning out. Kelly has now turned to the role of consultant, which may not necessarily be a bad thing.

Chip Kelly is still looking for his next Coaching Challenge and has said he would consider all possibilities, including returning to the College game. For now he is content as a teacher of the game from the outside looking in.

I don’t know if there are any coaching doors that will open for Kelly this season, but he is still able to share his knowledge of the game and Navy is listening.
