Tennessee Titans Quarterback Marcus Mariota was limited to 7-on-7 drills before Tuesday and turned some heads in Practice.

After breaking his leg in November as the Titans season came to a close, Marcus Mariota has spent time shuffling between Nashville and Eugene to rehab his leg. He was spotted at the Oregon Ducks Spring Practice leading up to the Spring Game. His younger brother Matt is a Tight End with the Ducks.

On Tuesday, Marcus Mariota took to the field for full team drills after Head Coach Mike Mularkey said last month he wasn’t sure how far along in his recovery Mariota was. The team had a plan to ease their third-year Quarterback into the motions, but it appears that Mariota took a big step in his recovery by himself.

Mariota spent time at the Marcus Mariota Performance Center when he was in Eugene. On Tuesday night he spoke at the Tennessean Annual Sports Awards. He covered topics from high school to motivation to what he was afraid of.

The former Oregon Duck will look to take the Tennessee Titans to their second winning season in the last five years in 2017. Mariota has not played a full 16 game schedule in the National Football League and appears fresh and ready to go.

In 2016 prior to the leg injury, Marcus Mariota had the Titans on the brink of a playoff berth throwing for close to 3500 yards through the air and being responsible for 26 touchdowns. The 2017 season opens at home against the Oakland Raiders and a 10 am Pacific Time kickoff
