At a little after 7 am, Oregon secured one of the key recruits and leaders of the 2018 class in quarterback Tyler Shough.

Shough originally committed to North Carolina, but quickly switched to the Ducks after visiting Oregon.

Shough stayed firmly committed throughout the coaching changes and uncertainty, and will now look to be the heir apparent to Justin Herbert at the QB position.

The fourth-rated quarterback in the nation will enroll early and be able to participate in spring practice.
