The Oregon Ducks picked up their first Pac-12 win of the season vs Colorado on Sunday.

It was the second straight start for Freshman Kenny Wooten who was a perfect 4 for 4 from the floor. He also came through with 4 blocks and a steal to help Oregon to a 77-62 win over the Colorado Buffaloes. The key to the game was free throws. The Ducks were 19 for 22 from the charity stripe good enough for 94 percent.

It was the first game of the season that Oregon won despite losing the rebounding battle(32-30). It was a game where the little things made a big difference as the Oregon Ducks continue moving forward in 2017 under Head Coach Dana Altman. Elijah Brown and Troy Brown found shots inside.

Paul White was welcomed back to the Oregon Lineup after missing two games in concussion protocol. He contributed with 3 points and 5 rebounds in 21 minutes on the floor.

Troy Brown helped Oregon off to a fast 7-0 start finishing with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 steals vs Colorado.

The Oregon Ducks forced 22 personal fouls against Colorado. The Buffaloes forced 15 and made just 5 of 8 free throws for the game. Colorado was more efficient offensively, but Oregon landed more free throws in the game.

Oregon now hits the road for their next three games. Head Coach Dana Altman knows this team is not where they need to be with a big test coming over the next two weeks. The Ducks have a week to prepare for a trip to Corvallis to take on Oregon State before getting the top two teams in the Pac-12 Conference in Arizona State and Arizona.
