Oregon Football picked up their fourth transfer commitment with Offensive Lineman Dallas Warmack over the weekend.

Oregon Head Coach Mario Cristobal knows Warmack well. Before coming to Eugene, he recruited him at Alabama. Dallas Warmack spent this weekend in Eugene and gave the Oregon Ducks his commitment on Sunday night. He is 6 foot 2 and 299 pounds, the size that Cristobal looks for. He has athleticism and agility and has football in his blood. His brother Chance was a 2013 First Round NFL Draft pick.

What the Oregon Ducks are doing to reset the bar in Eugene is working. Cristobal has been able to keep key pieces in place after the departure of Willie Taggart and as made training at the core level the most important entering his first full season as Oregon Football Head Coach. It is clearly resonating with players.

In having a connection with Cristobal, Dallas Warmack is going to enter Fall Camp with two years of eligibility remaining and more importantly, a comfort level in playing in Eugene already knowing what is expected of him from his Head Coach.

While Warmack was impressed with the facilities over the weekend, the biggest factor in his decision was clearly Mario Cristobal. He is one of the best Offensive Line Coaches in the nation and has started the process of building a powerhouse in Eugene. In the coming season, Oregon will find success on the field based on the fundamentals of the game and that success starts in the trenches with players like Dallas Warmack and those that came before him.
