Two Former Oregon Ducks Join Canada Senior National Team
Two former Oregon Ducks have been chosen to join the Canada Senior National team in preparation for World Competition in 2019.
Earlier this week Memphis Grizzlies Rookie Dillon Brooks along with Golden State Warriors future star Chris Boucher were chosen to train with Team Canada as they get ready for FIBA Basketball World Cop 2019 Americas Qualifiers. Both players showed the can make it in the National Basketball Association this past season. Brooks started the majority of the games for Memphis
Dillon Brooks was a second-round pick last year in the NBA Draft and had an immediate impact with the Grizzlies averaging 11 points and 3 rebounds per game. He played in 82 games hitting 44 percent from the field and just over 35 percent from three-point range. He had one his highest point totals of the season in the final game of the year against Oklahoma City putting up 36 points and 7 rebounds in a loss to the Thunder.
Another former Oregon Duck, Chris Boucher spent a good part of the 2017-18 season recovering from knee surgery. He was signed as a Free Agent by the Golden State Warriors and played the majority of the year in the D-League where he posted solid numbers and was a factor in more than a handful of games.

Both Boucher and Dillon Brooks will begin practices with the Canadian National Team on June 20th and 21st before facing China in the Pacific Rim Basketball Classic on Friday(7 30 pm Pacific Time)
