Oregon Football Recruiting: Wide Receiver Lance Wilhoite Commits To Ducks
The Oregon Ducks continue to add talent and speed at the Wide Receiver position for the near future.
On Thursday afternoon at The Opening Wide Receiver Lance Wilhoite gave his verbal commitment to play for the Oregon Ducks. Wilhoite is the third commit at Wideout in the last several weeks following JR Waters and Josh Delgado who committed to play for Mario Cristobal on a visit last weekend to Eugene.
While Oregon Football has been beefing up their front Offensive Line, a strength of Head Coach Mario Cristobal, the team is also focusing on areas of need. Oregon now has four Wide Receiver Commitments for the Class of 2019 and may not be done yet. Cristobal along with Marcus Arroyo are looking to get Oregon back to being fast and efficient on Offense.
Entering 2018 there are spots to fill and Cristobal has done a decent job. Tabari Hines is among several Graduate Transfers who should see immediate playing time this Fall. Hines is a Wide Receiver Transfer from Wake Forest. He will see key minutes and look to provide leadership to a young group of talent at the position.
Entering 2019, if Oregon can hold all of their Commitments at Wide Receiver, the team and fans could be in for something special in the not too distant future.
Lance Wilhoite is a 4-Star Wide Reciever who has been making the rounds of late visiting Ohio State and Louisville earlier this month. His star is rising. He is the 22nd best Wide Receiver in the country according to 247Sports.
Oregon Football is on the radar for several more potential commitments over the coming months. Wide Receiver Mycah Pittman is nearing a decision. The Ducks also hosted 4-Star Wide Receiver Kyle Ford who may be considering a second visit.
