2. Chris Duarte scores season-high

Chris Duarte has been one of the most steady forces on the roster this season and there’s a reason NBA teams are salivating over his potential at the next level.

Duarte can do a little of everything. He can score, he can pass, he can rebound and he plays stingy defense. He’s a matchup nightmare at the guard spot with his 6-foot-6 lengthy frame and he’s going to give Oregon State all it can handle on Friday night.

The last time these two teams faced off, Duarte was relatively quiet while the rest of the Ducks’ offense was red-hot. He finished just 3-for-8 from the floor with 10 points which was his lowest total since mid-February. You can bet Duarte wants to prove that game was just a fluke.

With another rivalry matchup and a chance to win the season series 2-1, Duarte is going to put the Ducks on his back and drop a season-high 28 points.

Duarte will finish with 28 points on over 50 percent shooting with five rebounds, three assists and a couple of steals. It’ll be the Duarte show on Friday night.
